Chief Dokpesi briefing the leadership of South-South Media

The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC and DAAR Communications, Operators of AIT and Raypower FM have begun talks to amicably resolve their differences.

The founder of the media outfit, Chief Raymond Dokpesi stated this in Abuja while receiving the leadership of South-South Media
Professionals led by its President, Comrade Victorson Agbenson.

Chief Dokpesi said the stakeholders in the industry had waded into the crisis as their efforts were appreciated by both DAAR Communications and the NBC

While restating DAAR Communications commitment to the pursuit of truth, Chief Dokpesi called on industry stakeholders to review some aspects of the NBC laws and codes that he said were obsolete.

Earlier, the leader of the south-south Media professionals, Comrade Victorson Agbenson said they were at DAAR Communications to show concern to the establishment over the travails with the NBC.

Comrade Agbenson stressed the need for NBC never to lose sight of the imperatives of a free press in a democratic society, even as it seeks to enforce its rules.
