Army refutes damage allegation from shooting range

The 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Ibadan, has refuted allegation that it damaged lives and property in some communities during its shooting exercises. The residents of Ajobo, Omilabu, Anilelerin, Keda and Oluseyi communities located on Arulogun-Igbo-Olorin road, had complained of projectiles from the exercise caused damage to their lives and property. Diezani to forfeit $40m jewelries, phone

A court has ordered the imminent seizure of $40 million worth of jewellery and a customised gold iPhone belonging to former oil minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, the country’s anti-graft agency said on Friday. The items, including hundreds of bangles, rings, earrings, necklaces and watches, were found at a property owned by Alison-Madueke, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said in a statement. Anambra launches sanitation campaign

Anambra State Government has launched an environmental action campaign for the improvement of waste management in the state. The process was aimed at maintaining good sanitary condition in the area. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says that normal port activities had resumed following the suspension of a three-day strike by Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria.
