Court strikes out suit against 54 lawmakers

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday struck out a suit seeking an order declaring vacant the seats of 54 National Assembly members who, last year, defected from the political parties which sponsored their elections. FG to stop importation of textiles by 2023

The Federal Government is to stop the importation of textiles by 2023. This was contained in the terms of reference of the committee for the revival of the textile industry read by the Special Adviser to the Central Bank Governor on Development Finance, Anthony Ifechukwu in Abuja.
